So I noticed a bunch of cobwebs between the hood and windshield of my car....

Assuming all the windows are rolled up could say a spider go through a vent from the outside? Would the air filters prevent this?

No. Usually, the able arachnid travels on a shoe, clothes, or briefcase.

Next, invariably, and thankfully, the 8 legged beast will choose the windscreen over a dark corner and thus won't surprise you at 80 mph.
