After over a year of planning, earning and countless hours on the BMW online configurator, I finally put in my order for my first BMW. Here are the specs:

550i xDrive
Carbon Black exterior
Cinnamon Brown Dakota Leather
Brushed Aluminum trim
M Sport Package
Cold Weather Package
Dynamic Damper Control
Sport Auto Transmission
Rear Sunscreen
BMW Aps (w/ smartphone integration)

My sales rep said he'll provide the production number and estimated completion date early next week. Needless to say I'm a happy camper tonight.

Thanks to all who responded to my questions over the year. This a great forum and I look forward to adding my own pics when it finally arrives.

Very nice! I've been considering the same colors but think I may chicken out at the last moment and get black interior! I'm interested to hear and see how you like yours.

I went back and forth between black and cinnamon brown about 10 times. But after seeing the cinnamon brown in person, I was sold. The pictures don't capture the true color. Once I get it, I'll add some pics to the exterior/interior color threads.

Nice one, but I would think twice before ordering DDC without AD, as I didn't like the way DDC was behaving on Normal settings, car felt totally unplanted from the road, but that was on F11, so it might be different on F10.

Just having the dynamic dampers is a wonderful setup and better than the base M Sport suspension.

I agree. I test drove a model with the DDC and normal was great on poor city roads, and sport felt great on the highway. I'll be able to give a full report after a month or so of driving.

If you don't have ARS(Active Roll Stabilization) option definitely get that. It makes a massive difference in handling.
