On black I would stick with them as is personally, not a fan of black on black

I think they would look great, the style is very similar to the 20" M5 Wheels but I always thought that the M5 wheels were too plain unless you have big brakes behind there then they look silly.

These would look great because they hide the brakes rather then show them like the M5 wheels do.

Correct me if I am wrong but I think the offset would work with the tire setup you might need to use your spacers in the front to clear the strut.

The wheels that you mentioned above for the front
offset it's 35 on a 9.5" rim, if you put your 5mm spacers then your offset now is 30mm which should work?

Rear offset at 35 should work too, I know that it should be anywhere from 35-40.

I have the 312 wheels off a F02 750LI in ferric grey on my car stock ride height, if I lower it the fronts tires will rub for sure because of the taller side wall profile. the rears are good!

21”x8.5” – ET25 – 245 /35 / R 21 –
21”x10.0” - ET41 – 285 / 30 / R 21 –

Thanks for the insight Norris...I think you are right so, 5mm spacers up front should be okay but not for the rears. When I get a chance I will go there and place them up against my car for pics.

One thing is that cleaning them will be fun lol...I'll definitely have to invest in some new wheel brushes of various sizes.

I thought they would be really busy, but after seeing the pictures I like the look!
This is coming from a guy who loves as little spokes as possible. Car looks great man!

+1

I was initially going with "if you have nothing nice to say....." but figured why not speak up.

I don't think they are ugly by any means, to me they are just too busy and don't agree with sleek/classy look of the car.

Fair enough, I respect anyone's opinion and it would be pretty boring if we all agreed and did the same things. This was an effort to do something different.
I have always done simple, minimalist style rims but looked at prototypes and some future cars to be released and they seemed to be a little more complex, so I gave it a shot. I'm good with it and I guess that's what counts.

I personally think it looks great with the black color! A lot of new cars have the gunmetal with machine finish face on the wheels.

I think he is aiming for this kind of look....

Not my cup of tea, but I applaud you for thinking outside the box and being different. The good thing about modding, is your own opinion is the only one that counts.

Its all about doing something different than the norm. It does seem a bit busy but as long as you like it that's what matters. Thinking out the box!

more or less, yes.. busier or more complex wheels on luxury sedans seem to be a future trend

Bro ur car is looking sexy and besides it being busy as others have mentioned(which I see their point but don't agree), it's UNIQUE! That's the best part about it. Doubt you'll see another f10 with those wheels on it. Well, besides me of course because you're really making me want to get them lol. Did you have to use spacers or anything?

Thanks again, it's always nice to get new goodies for the summer too, hehe.
I used spacers up front as they are 9.5 wide and needed to clear (barely clear btw) but in the rears no spacers as the 10.5 width and +35mm offset works out to be pretty flush. I tried spacers in the rear but it stuck out a little so took them off. Hub centric rings were also used.

I like it and I don't like it. Part of me says it's cool...than the other half of me says it's not flowin'? When I stare at it I see big sunflower petals...but than I also see them as concept wheels. It's Definitely unique!

haha, I totally don't see flower pedals when I look at it but I see what you are saying...man, I'm coming for you if I start seeing petals every time I look at it from now on

LOL! Regardless I think if the car wasn't black it wouldn't work. Also...being that it lowered makes a big difference. If it was stock I think the car would look totally different too! Any other mods planned?
