F10 Transmission Faults

I have just bought a BMW F10, 528
I have just drive it for 169 km on road, which suddenly blink sound blare when i was reducing speed about 30 km.
The message was "Transmission Faults, please drive moderately"
I can continue my journey in a 1st gear, the transmission does not shifting, try to move to sports mode or manual, its not possible.
I stop my car, re-start my engine, "Faults notice are gone", transmission operate normally.
I contact my dealer and they explain that, this is the 2nd case with F10 - 528 they are selling. They suggest me to reboot the systems, but for the 1st case of the other car, after a few week problems persisting, computer as to reboot the software.
Does anybody have the same problems?
It was such a nice and smooth car with all entertainment system, my kids loves it and this is the first time I have problems with a brand new BMW, which I hope they rectified the faults.

I have experinced the same problem and message, technic service reboot the software, and ıt is OK after that

its probably system glitch or something!

Happened to me too right off the lot, forgot what they did but haven't happened since, 7k driven so far.

this also happened to me - e60 523i 2008 (5-6 times happened "transmission faulty since new). after complained to bmw dealer (which I bought it from there), that bmw dealer can't replace the new tansmission. Already 3 weeks bmw dealer still not replace until now wednesday July 13, 2011. If somebody whave the same problem, please email me or pm. Thx.
