Installing Acs spring season on 2014 528 xdrive this week
After a several weeks of reading here, decided my best option was ACS. Old news for most on this forum, but I'm excited to test the results.

You will love them, I have H&R ones with stock xdrive( non sport, non adaptive) suspension and love them, even with 20" wheels they run smooth. They are wife and kids approved so no doubt for the slightly less agressive ACS.

Jay, how long have you been running h&R? Everyone here claims you would blow ur oem struts but I never had problems on any of my previous cars. Do u have pics on 20" and springs. I'm about to go this route also and since u claim a smooth ride , I may be all in!

I installed the springs in March this year and so far so good. I hope they will last until aftermarket shocks become available for my Xdrive...
I already posted these pictures but since you have asked:

I installed mine back in may, I've been totally happy with them.
Had them on for 4k miles now! When the shocks need replacement i'll go to Coilovers but for now these work well! |

Acs springs installed. It was a relatively long job per the installer. The ride is pretty much like I've read. Less wallow, less roll, better road feel, and a ride nearly as compliant as the factory springs. The drop was a little more than an inch on my 528 xdrive. So far I'm very pleased. BTW how is your garage flooring holding up? I'm planning on upgrading my current epoxy floors to tiles. Any cons?

It's holding up ok. As you can see it wrinkles/bunches sometimes when I pull in. It's about a year and half old. I had just moved in and the floor underneath was pretty pitted and ugly. This was a good stop gap to repouring or re surfacing. I found this form homedepot.com for less 100/ roll delivered, which was pretty good at 100 pounds a roll. Three rolls was just about right for my 2 car garage.
