M5 muffler with straight pipe

Just put an m5 muffler 3.5" with a. Straight pipe on my 550 2011. Feel as if I have lost power. Any body would know if true or not ??

Did you hook up the vacuum lines? Have you tried searching the forums? I seem to remember someone else posting similar experiences previously...

Maybe the car has to relearn with new exhaust?

You probably need a tune to adjust your ECM for the loss of back pressure that is there in stock form.

How do I do that? I have jb2 tuning

You need a custom tune to make your engine take advantage of what you have done exhaust-wise. Check with Turner Motorsports, they're a BMW performance shop and see if they have something or can point you in the right direction.
