Tire Size help?

Hey guys... My local shop is giving me a killer deal on a wheel and tire package. I plan to get the Avant Garde m368 in 20x8.5 front and 20x10 rear. I'm confused because all websites suggest I get 285/30/20 for the rears BUT my local shop said 275/30/20. I don't want rubbing when I lower the car but I do want enough tire to protect the rim.

Will 285/30/20 rub? Is 275/30/20 too thin?

275/30/20 is the OEM F10 size, but many with 10 or 10.5 wide wheels puts on 285/30/20 tires for some more meat on the rear wheels.

If you'll rub or not depends on the offset.

I see. So the only way to really know is to find someone with avant garde m368 in that set up I suppose.

Anyone have this set up or know about the offset with these wheels. Rear is 20x10 ET35.

BUMP. Im ordering the rims tomorrow and need to figure out if the Avant Garde m368 will rub with 285 in the rear after a drop.

One last BUMP...

Rear rims are 20x10 with ET35. Will 285/30/20 tires rub once lowered on ACS springs or lowered at all?
