that rear spoiler would look great. maybe because my car has that OEM CF spoiler so cars dont have it look a bit empty on the trunk, at least to me.

Totally agreed. The W212 E's facelift looks like it should be an April Fools joke. Never have I seen such disharmony from a facelift. Nothing matches up, the new elements have been given absolutely no thought as to how they'll look with the original core design (i.e completely mismatched), lots of busy gimmicks just thrown at it to make it even more discordant, etc. It seems M-B is hiring designers straight out of High School.
I was driving down the highway yesterday and happened upon an E350 right behind a 535. It may have been the first time I'd seen the two that close together.

The F10 was a much more handsome car, from every angle.

I was a passenger in the new E350 sport both front and back and two things I noticed... It was pretty roomy yet boxy inside and it had the electric seat belt tensionsers

Was it a BMW no but Merc has risen closer to BMW than BMW has pulled away. Yes, the LCI updates are good but they better make the F10 a lot more sporty, fix the steering and give it better stability through curves

They did. And they called it the 6 Gran Coupe......

No, it's the optional multifuctional display.

So far I don't regret ordering the pre-lci f10.
I have to agree with the exterior - nothing I can see that is getting me excited there. There are a few 'past' Options that are becoming standard now though - M Sport 8 speed transmission (good decision BMW); Comfort Access (useless as it doesn't always work); Harmon Kardon Sound System (excellent); Rear View Camera (at long last); Dynamic Park Assist (love this function); Adaptive Headlights (cornering and works well but what about High Beam Assist?); Driving Assist - Lane Change Warning and Approach Warning (it's a bit naff); Surround View (Yuk!); and an updated iDrive controller with handwriting recognition (the Jury's stilll out on this one). But the thing I'm not a fan of is that stoopid skinny steering wheel ... simply does not go with the 5 Series ... at all (imo). BMW, please make this a No Cost Option and not a Standard feature

These are indeed the sport seats but having driven both sport -and comfort seats the comfort seats are 100x better. In Holland we pay a €800 premium on sportseats compared to the standard seats (which are crap) and a whoppy €2200 premium on comfort seats. But worth every dime!
I'm with you 100% on this ... once you go comfort, you'll never go back to standard sport seats.
