bimmercode Launch Control 528i?

i read somewhere that i need to software update first in order to have the LC on bimmercode. Did that, still nothing happen under expert mode 3000 aplikation.

watched lots of youtube videos it looks straight forward on the 535i.

any solution for this?

That just updates media software.

You need to update firmware, not the media software. It's a lot more involved than plugging in a USB stick.

You could think of it as an ECU's software. Firmware is technically software, but lower level. Updating the firmware requires a lot more advanced knowledge, but I'd start here:

If you don't know what you're doing, you run a high risk of permanently bricking an ECU.
