I imported my F10 from Germany into Croatia (model from 2011). It has SIM with german number +49... Of course the subscription to german operator expired (I don't even know how it went) and I cannot use this number for anything else except for calling SOS (112). Yes, I pushed SOS button on roof and I got emergency service, so it's tested and works, actually they told what's mine SIM phone number :-)

Now I'd like to use this SIM (or any other) for BMW connectivity in my car but how? According to some posts here I'm not able to simply change SIM card because it is eSIM built inside car's HW.

Same question here. I will follow thread if there even is a solution. I believe back in 2011 there was no eSim concept, was it?

I don't know if eSim concept existed back in 2011 (electronic SIM) but here I was thinking about SIM embedded (non-replaceable SIM) in BMW hardware. However even better if there is replaceable SIM card! With replaceable SIM my problem would be solved.

It seems that something was answered here.
