M5 343 Rims for F10 520i...

I want to buy a set of used (Less than 1000 miles) M5 343 rims with 255/35/20 and 285/30/20 PSS tires from U.S.A., If I fit those rims to my F10, will it be any rubbing issues with stock suspension? The seller is one of the members here, he is asking $3300 USD for it. I just PMed him about the cost of shipping to Hong Kong.

Is my F10 520i power enough running with the 20" rims?

P.S. By the way, what is the " OEM " means? It means " REAL " M5 rims or " Replica "? Thanks.

Thanks in advance. ^_^

OEM means original BMW part, so yes, real M5 wheels.

I think the key issue is the width of rim which required wide tyres....

First, the tires come with the M5 wheels is too tall for normal f10. Second, the offset are too low because of the M5 is much wider.

No, OP wants to run 255 + 285 and that works fine.

The M5 offset is ET34 and that's 1mm off the front offset of the non-M F10, and just 10mm more aggressive than in the rear.

remmib c hing,

Is it ok to fit M5 rims with 255 and 285 tires on a normal F10? Will it be any rubbing issues? Thanks in advance. ^_^

It will fit and will not rub if not going stupid low, what I said here is the wheel will not fit perfectly or as nice as those after market and OEM rims which's made for normal F10 due to the aggressive offset of the M5. For $3300 USD, I sure will get something else. That's only my 2 cents.

Hey Pixie,
My ride is 528i with M sport package.
I just got a set of 343M installed.
OEM M5 343M wheels(second hand, took off from a BMW M5)
size of the wheels are
front 20x9, ET 34
rear 20x10, ET 34
tire size i went conservative(heard 255 and 285 are also fine but if you wanna lower the car it might rub when you have ppl sitting at the back.)
front Michelin PSS 245/35/20
rear Michelin PSS 275/30/20

Hi! How are you liking the 343M rims? I have the 528i with M package as well and am planning to put a set of 343's on Monday as well. Is the handling good? Any big hit in mpg because there's so much tire on the road? Thx!

I personally like an OEM look, so I like it a lot.
I actually can't really feel a different comparing to the old set of wheels in regards to mpg and handling. Probably because I only drive the car in weekends.
The only big change I notice is the ride is much more quite.
Sorry didn't really answer for you questions.

tofuflower c hing,

May I have a look of your car with 343 rims on? Did you lower your car? I bought a used rims before but I don't like them much now and want to get a set of 343 rims if the price is not expensive.

Thanks in advance.
