I remember now months back when you got it did you ever get chance to get it installed. Thanks for link I honestly can say this I never heard of this

So where do you install the cutout?

Before the resonator / after the turbo?

After the resonator / before the mufflers?

this seems like a cheap way to get MORE sound...when you want it...without compromising the sound of my existing m5 exhaust..

I installed it right before the rear muffler to eliminate drone and resonance/vibration inside the cabin.

what are you using to open and close the valve...remote or switch? because if that's the case i may just swap my QTP out if it's cheaper?

Anyone have link where I can buy it???

no drone at all. It sounds better if you are driving in sports mode. Burbles when I'm letting go of the gas. just buy it from ebay. I suggest just buy the 2pcs exhaust cutout coz its cheaper. at least you have extra when the other one goes out.

I thought the cheaper ones don't hold up long compared to the actual Quick Time Performance version which is significantly more expensive, upwards of $300. The Ebay ones say QTP, but they're not, they're made by Vevor in China.

Link to original QTP cutout with remote and piping.

Let us know how the quality and install goes. $79 is a lot cheaper than $300 for the authentic QTP so I'm curious what your thoughts are on it.

I ended up going for QTP just cause the forums, my muffler guy, and my gut all said it was better to go with the (seemingly) more reliable option. Expecting to get them any day this week and am getting them installed on Friday...

So do these mess with ground clearance at all?

I noticed in your vid, one of yours seemed to be at the same level as the exhaust but the other appeared to be pointing down.

I changed the orientation of my cutout valve. I just bent the muffler heat shield a little bit towards the muffler to give room to the motor.
