2011 550i M Sport, Space Grey, MORR VS8.2, and more to come
This is my first BMW and in fact my first European car. I have always tried to support American manufacturers since I run a company that is one as well. However, I could not resist and after a year of researching and waiting I pulled the trigger back in August and took delivery in September.
I've been trolling the F10 forum for a few months now and calculating my moves. I am a big horsepower guy and anyone that knows me will atest to that. I've owned 2 Corvette Z06's (2003 and 2007) and I'm an avid drag racer. My dad and I are partners in our racing endeavors. We have a 1969 Camaro that is a "street car" and we are building a 2002 Pontiac Trans Am. Here are a couple of pictures of our 69 Camaro and a few YouTube links for anyone that is interested. I've owned this car with my dad since 1997 and it is registered and insured to be street driven. So now that I have your attention on to what the thread is really about. As I said I've been searching through the forums to get ideas. When I purchased this car I knew that I would be modifying it and adding my personality to it. I am pretty simple and I like it clean, simple and straight forward. My goal is build an all around awesome daily driver and I think I'm on my way. Phase 1, complete: MORR VS8.2 Hand Brushed and Clear, Front: 20x9, Michelin Pilot Super Sport 255/35/20 Rear: 20x10, Michelin Pilot Super Sport 285/30/20 ACS lowering springs Phase 2 and what's next: Exhaust, Dinan Stage 2, and possibly M5 rear diffuser or Vorstiener front and rear diffuser, and definitely some tinted windows. I'm open to suggestions as well. Big thanks to Andy and the guys at MORR. I'm glad I listened to you Andy and you absolutely were spot on and nailed it. The hand brushed and cleared is the right look and contrast with Space Grey. It really makes the car pop. Also, we lost 20lbs per corner from the factory Run Flats and M Sport rims. I love losing 80lbs of rotating weight. Also, thank you to Ivan and Long at LTBMW. You guys did a great job installing my springs and getting the new shoes on my car. Thank you again and will be seeing you soon for more work. Hope you enjoy and thanks for letting me introduce myself. |

Lol, yes I can drive it on the street but I swap the slicks for drag radials. I did get to check out the Meisterschaft info and looks pretty nice. I also talked to Luigimaster and will be catching up with him more tomorrow. Thanks for the help.
