F10s on Coils!

Hi there!

Can anyone share with me some photos of their F10s on coilovers? The seller I'm buying mine from told me he's throwing in coilovers and 20" Niche wheels (along with an Active Autowerk exhaust) for free, and I just cannot contain my excitement so I must see some photos, and maybe get some tips since I have never done anything suspension wise to any of my cars before.

Much appreciated! I'll be posting photos of mine when I take delivery!

I'll double check with the seller. I'm hoping they're KWs as well. My shop quoted $800 for installation.... does that sound right? I don't want to get ripped off for labor. Their labor rate is $100/hr, does it really take 8 hours to do the install?

That is very high, I think you can get it done for around 250. But 400 max sounds like a good price. 800 is too high

Me and a buddy did mine so all it cost was 2 Starbucks Venti Caramel Fraps lol! I saved $$$$$

I don't have the patience lol, otherwise my springs would be on my M3 and M6 by now too

Are coils relatively easy to install on the F10s, especially those optioned with EDC?

Yes... So much faster because you eliminate the step where you have to remove the OEM spring with a spring compressor to swap in the new. With the coilovers once you remove the OEM springs/shocks just swap the coilovers instead. Probably saves you 30min or less per corner.

I saw a small DIY on the forums, doesn't look too bad. EAS apparently will do the coils and install my AA exhaust for $600 OTD. I might try the coils myself as I have access to a lift and tools. I'll be lifting it up to put on brand new tires and wheels anyway, might as well get everything done in one weekend.

Looks BadA$$ ThaiBriun! one of the many great things with coilovers is you can adjust it whatever height you need it to be especially if you need to bring it in to the dealership for services and you don't want them to *uck up your spoiler

How's everyone's tire wear with mild drop? My 20's only get ~10k in the rears on stock height.
