Given the times in the video intro, the 535i driver should be banned from sitting in a BMW.
In his defense its clear the 535i had a poor start shown at 0:33 off the line the 335d almost had a car length. Bigger problem with the video (and race) is ... According to BMW specs, the 535i does 0 - 100 km/h in 6.1 seconds not 5.0 as stated in the video and the 335d does 0 - 100 km/h in 5.7 seconds not 5.4 seconds as stated in the video. Big difference in real times and the reason why the 335d pulled away from the 535i. Does the guy who shot this video work at ring toss on the carnival circuit? No offense but this video sucks

Well, to begin with, why did you delete the post between mine? Makes me look like I am talking to myself.
However, if you read my post ... I am saying the 535i 0-100kmh is 6.1 while the 335d is 5.7, not sure of your location but the NY school system taught me that the 335d would get to 100kmh faster (ie. 335 wins). I did say that, the 335d in video appeared to be ahead from the beginning.

What is the point of this video? I fail to see any point in it. The figures show that a car is quicker than another on a straight line race, like 5.7 or 6.1 sec or whatever. Why need to do it?
"We have the figures for wheel base, but let's measure them just for the heck of it", for example? |

According to bwm UK a 335d does 0-62 in 6.1.
The 535i was an auto gearbox, they showed the stick for about 0,2 seconds, and that is stated as 6.1s on bmw uk. Not to mention how stupid it makes one look when you make a video to prove something, that shows facts which are totally wrong. Unless you claim bmw is totally wrong about their numbers, it would seem the 5-series driver didnt perform as well as the 3-series driver. They should do some more runs.

Well, to add some comfort for us F10/11 people you can watch a clip where our machine beats a VW polo

At this point the money has been spent. So long as no one comes up with a video of a Yugo beating an F10 I'll be alright. Amazing how glitches on this car without strong back up from BMW will make you into a conformist.

I have no reservations of buying a 550i. I am convinced it delivers the BIGGEST bang for the buck.
As for your video, it still makes no sense or your posts.

For the all rounder, I stand by the F10 535d M Sport. As for the video, yes, no sense at all. It fails miserably to tell any story at all. |

Didnt I Say The 550i Is Impressive? More Than Enough Power, Excellent Interior, And Bmw Dynamics The Closest Competitors Are The Cts-v Wagon (Sedan Is Bland And Coupe Is Ugly), And Perhaps The Upcoming Audi S6 |

I hear you on the Nissan GT-R, problem is, its not a competitor for the 550i.
GT-R is a 2 door and not designed to cart around a family of 5 which my 550i can do comfortably. I can pack up the family or go for a run, thats how awesome this 550 is. I remain convinced, the 550 is rivaled by none without forking over a large lump more. I had a 2008 535 before the F10 550 and I loved it, it sold me on BMW ... but for a few thousand more, the 550i was the end game for me.

Enjoy! More Power Is Always A Great Thing
Yes.. Those Audis Are Pretty But Quattro Slows Them Down In The Curves The E63 Is My Favourite Car In This Class But Too Expensive In My Opinion |

Which raises the point that if I was in the market for an M6, it would be the one and only scenario where I would find myself looking into the R8 too.
I have seen two, one at a rest stop and one on the autobahn, very nice looking irl.

I saw what you said, I was just opining that the 35 series is nice and I like it, but for me (esp. for the extra cash of the 35d) the 50i was a no brainer. However, if I was driving all over Gods creation, I very well may feel different about that.
