F11 Fitting 17" winter wheels, worried front brake caliper my bind

Daft question because all the sites say they will, but looking at my 19" wheels the front brake calliper seems too close to the 19" alloy to allow a 2" reduction in wheel size.

I think I am missing something here but need to be certain they will be ok.

Car is a standard 520d M sport on 19" wheels.

If it is the BMW package Style 327, yes they will fit. I'm running them on my 535i.

Should have posted this picture, more authentic for a winter wheel set.

I was looking at a set of Alutec E, they are remarkably similar to the BMW ones and are homologated for the 5 series. Package is around £500 cheaper than BMW set.

The fact that 17" fit your car is good and I will go ahead and sort a set out.

The correct offset is key.

Yes, watch both the offset and the rim clearance, if using non OEM 17" rims.

For example; Style 327 is 8x17" with ET 30

It just clears the balance weights and rim step by about 5mm on the 535i, at the point where the caliper bridge is reduced. (Red arrow).

Thanks for all the advice, managed to get the OEM within £300 of the Alutec so have gone with the OEM ones on the grounds that there will be no issues re fit or with insurance.
