Gains with the tune was amazing, I did both at the same time so wouldn't know on it's own.

All my car have always been catless so I'm used to the smell... and no check engine light with the tune.

I have catless with a muffler delete and there is no gassy smell. Unless you have a super nose it will not bother you.
