Hello everyone, I have a little bit of an issue happening. I recently changed my oil. Do it every 2500 miles and my car started to make a loud howling noise when I step on the accelerator between 1500 to 2800RPM than disappears over 3000RPM and above. Also since the oil change it has developed a knocking sound but doesn’t sound like a rod knock. I rebuilt the engine 9k miles ago due to a spun rod bearing. Mostly everything from the head down was replaced. No oil leaks, spark plugs are dry- everything seems to be checking out. The tapping sound doesn’t sound like rod noise since I went through this 9k miles ago and the tapping sound this time is WAY different than rod knock. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Vanos? Injectors? Coils? Valves? Please have a look at the 3 videos for Whine and Tapping.
