Several picture when I doing the test...
When I drive my baby home, driving experience is really GREAT and feel like a totally different car. Good job Racechip here... Yoyo Last edited by yoyoluking; 04-15-2014 at 09:21 PM.. Reason: Add one picture for BMS intake |

The run with the tunning+intake added is ~30whp higher. Sounds like the tuning is around +3psi, similar to the BMS Stage1. Mike |

Looks like Intake won't help on increasing power but the sound improved a lot that's for sure... One more thing worth to mention, Racechip claim that each adjust on power switch will increase 1.5% more power and looks like valid in this case as below: Run6 max power: 310.2 Run7 max power: 314.5 increase 4.2 whp around 1.35% increasing rate. This give me more room to imagine that I still have 8 more adjustment level... So it will be very funny in future mod... Yoyo Last edited by yoyoluking; 04-14-2014 at 06:15 PM.. A lot of challenge about the real figure then I provided it then it turned that I am working for Racechip? What kind of logic behind this. Are you working for BMS??? Yoyo |

Looks like there isn't much value until you reach a very high speed. Price depends on how much your local dealer charges. I'll stick with Burger as OP stating he is not affiliated is very suspect.

thanks to Klecha_man and dr.mba and yoyoluking!
Getting a RaceChip Ultimate for $594 from 1 of the authorized seller in the US =) The difference with RC Ultimate is that, its pretty much a JB4 Stage2 but more stable and doesn't tap into power/ground or canbus. It's easier to install/remove and produces the power from start also without requiring any other mods on the car.

I would like to see a side-by-side comparison of RaceChip, BMS (Stage 1 and Stage 2) and aFe Scorcher.
I run a stock setup up with 93 octane and would like a decent bump in the front end torgue with a couple extra ponies. I live most of my life between 2000-4500 RPM. Wish I had saved some more $$$ and ponied up for the 550i. Before this forum (and others), I thought with a twin turbo it would be relatively easy to get 350WHP and 400ft/lbs of torque out of the 3.0L N55. That really would have been enough for me. I couldn't have been more wrong. Seems like BMW has them either fairly optimized or locked down on the newer F10 535i. If I am missing something here please let me know. Catless downpipes are not an option for me, intakes seems to make little difference other than better sound and cat back systems are expensive with relatively little gain in power (although the do sound and look better but at a cost of $1500+ USD). Frustrated we can't get much more HP out of these without spending as much as buying up to a 550i. Anybody have any other experiences, please let me know. |
