M5 Downpipes 3" mandrel bent to x-pipe and M5 Mufflers Sound Clip
Sorry for the dirty car and terrible reving, my girlfriend was doing it.
Gives everyone an idea of what this set ups sounds like. I can get a better clip if interested. Last edited by CloudVIII; 03-18-2014 at 05:41 PM.. |

From this forum. F10 5post forum members sold me the down pipes and mufflers, and my exhaust shop installed with 3" and x-pipe. Should be able to pick up mufflers and down pipes for $800-1000. Install around $500-750. My BMW service manager has approved this and it will not affect my warranty. They just will not warranty the parts.

Wait so stock M5 downpipes is bolt on for the 550? I heard they changed the downpipes on the later model F10 V8's.
Did they look bigger compared to the stock ones? Alan

They are not bolt up, they take some minor modification. A good exhaust shop should have no issue. They are bigger in diameter for sure and hence why I went to 3" from 2.75" to support. I am running stock tune right now and low end torque is noticeable. Educated guess would be a 10 hp increase overall, but the sound is great for my taste.
