Hey guys. Sorry if this question has been asked before but what is the widest tire size you guys have/had on your F10 x-drives? I'm currently at 245 all around but was wondering if anyone has gone wider? Would having wider tires in the back than the fronts not fly with AWD? I've heard many mixed reviews on this.

Here the xdrive comes with the same 245 + 275 staggered tires as the RWD.

as long as you keep the overall diameter the same, especially between front and rear tires, you should be fine.

Hate to revive this thread, but don't run 245/275 on an X-drive the diameters are not the same.

You want to run 245/35 and 285/30 they have the exact same rolling diameter.

I am running 245/35/20 on 9inch width rim, and 285/30/20 on 10.5inch width rim. No issues and x-drive works fine.

Hmm... too lazy to go out to the garage to check, but I guess I'll need to take a look now. Seems to be contention on whether the xDrive cars come with staggered tires or not?

I went to Tire Rack online, and when I put in a 2014 BMW 550i xDrive, it gave me an option for "M Sport" and also "M Sport Staggered" - I wasn't aware there were two different setups?

245/45-18 Dunlop 3D Wintersport on all 4's for me. I think the wider tires are more hindrance than help in snow, but if most of your driving is on pavement, maybe it helps with the handling??
