535i 2014 versus 2015

I am looking into getting used 2014 or 2015 535i. I know it is somewhat hard question to answer but does anyone know if 2015 had any major model changes which should warrant going with that year versus 2014. Thank you.

There are no appreciable differences from a 14 to a 15, outside obvious variances in actual equipment options. You can option out a 14 and strip out a 15, or the opposite.

The cars themselves are for all intents identical other than the production date.

If you're looking at off-lease cars, you'll have way more choices with 2014. I just got one myself a couple of months ago.

Not much, as far as looks are different, but perhaps the biggest change from a feature standpoint is enhanced Bluetooth being standard. In the 2014 and prior you needed the stand alone option for the office features, but this model year made it standard. If you want the option to text (or email depending on the samsung phone) then this is required, unless you find a 2014 with the option already in it.

Good luck!

Or just get it coded after you've bought it.

I believe if you get the M sport package it comes with the suspension for both years... Just make sure the production date of the one you are purchasing was not made late 2013... Maybe someone can correct me if I am wrong on this.

As I can see neither 2014 nor 2015 have blind spot monitoring, emergency braking, programmable cruise control with auto braking
