Headlight adjustment questions

Hi guys,

Had to repair one of my headlights and would like to align them now. Two questions:

1) if I understand ISTA correctly, adaptive headlights need to be adjusted in low beam mode and not Auto, correct?

2) how do I check / adjust horizontal position? For vertical adjustment the technique is clear.

We're missing an important detail...adaptive halogen, HID (xenon), or adaptive LED headlights?

And perhaps less important but just in case there's a slight difference...are you LHD or RHD (left hand or right hand drive)?

Yes, thanks. I found this in ISTA too, but wasn't sure which headlights it applies too. I have Adaptive Xenons, LHD.
