Mobile holder for F10 dash

My phone used to sit in the cup holders for years, but with keys, a drink etc it was always a little irritating. I read the threads on here with Brodie clips etc, but wanted to try an alternative option, this one being a CD slot type holder.

Turns out it is perfect!

I have taken some late night photos for you, and as you can see it does not get in the way, is sitting on a ball joint that gives a real chance of getting a perfect view and the ability to plug in a charging cable too

Hope this is of use to you all, will post the Amazon link in a bit, got it for £7.99

So I'm guessing you don't use the shortcut buttons 3,4,5 very much then?
I have them set for commonly used phone numbers, destinations, radio stations...

Never seen the point of these anyway since Bluetooth. You can control the phone with it in your pocket for making and receiving calls and you have ProNav. Why would you need to see the phone when driving?

I tried one of these as i wanted a small tidy design that i can place pretty much anywhere in the cabin - https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Not bad and it holds my large Samsung S8+ with a heavy duty case on fine.

One solid option I am using after upgrading to iPhone 7 and not upgrading my snap in adapter, is the Halfords option below, I am suing the passenger cup holder in order to keep access to all switches in the dashboard apart from the climate control for the passenger side, the fit is perfect and solid stable.
