Moisture in headlamp assemblies?
I'm noticing some moisture in the headlamps that's not going away on my 535, anyone have any suggestions? [IMG][/IMG]

I read in the manual that some is acceptable as they're vented assemblies, which is understandable, but I'm concerned as I've never had any xenon light assembly hold condensation like these without a broken seal or some other similar cause.

Cold rainy days? We've had that in spades lately, perhaps that's causing the issue.
I drove to the airport this evening and pick up a potential candidate I'm interviewing tomorrow, so I had a round trip of around an hour with the headlights on and the moisture has persisted, it was still present upon returning home. I have a short "laundry list" of minor trim issues that I'm waiting to take to the local dealer (I bought at another dealer 2 hrs. away as their price was far and away the best) but I don't know how receptive they'll be with the trim items on a second-owner 26,000 mile car I didn't buy from them. |
