Random Automatic Braking Malfunction?

Hi Everybody,

Need some help here on my 2014 535i (m sport) with 90k. Not certain, but I believe there is a function on these cars where if you're driving in the rain, the brakes will automatically engage to prep the rotors for emergency stopping. Something I heard (and felt when driving in the rain).

So, road were a little wet this morning. Braking was automatically engaged, like normal. However, this time around it's like the brake seized. I was fighting to keep the car moving enough to pull into a gas station, put it in park and turn it off. After waiting a few minutes, I turned the car back on and I was back in business.

Still feel a slow down (after travelling to work - +30 miles), but it wasn't as intense as when I first started driving.

Anybody have any idea what's going on with my car?

Thank you!

-Mike
