Does this fit if my muffler tips are still fitted like the 550i? Tips more towards the out.

Is this sprayed a certain color as some oem diffusors are or just black? Are you willing to ship?

It's just gloss black. The original color from the factory.

That diffuser looks like it's an M5 spec (tips more inward) - so it won't fit any muffler setup that's made to fit stock 550i diffuser.

A muffler shop can generally reposition it right?

If the muffler was originally made for the 550i, then the short answer is maybe. It all depends on its design. Dinan 550i mufflers, hell no (I already asked 2 shops to look into it, there is no room). I know other aftermarket mufflers are slimmer and many don't have the valve control, so those could very well be repositioned.

But looks like you have a 535i, so unless you specifically bought a 550i muffler, you shouldn't have a problem with this type of [M5-spec] diffuser.

With enough money anything is possible lol. Jk. Muffler labor here is cheap. Like $60/hr

Agreed I personally tried it once and the local shop ended up cutting and re-welding the outlets/tips but totally screwed up the alignment. Luckily it was an experimental 650i GC muffler setup and didn't stay on the car long. I just can't take that chance on the Dinan's even though I'd love to install the genuine M5 diffuser that's been sitting in my garage for 2 years now.

OEM diffusers literally pop off in a minute and fitting the m5 one on would take approximately one more minute. It's easy to see if it will fit or not.
