Found one of the factory clamps a little loose on the passenger side that connects the air tube to the plastic piece that goes to the turbo, thinking that's where the vacuum leak might of been. hooked the chip back up, so far so good. Will clear the codes tonight and see what happens next.

Also, I took some Extreme Weather HVAC Foil Tape and wrapped the flex tubes in the back. I don't know if it'll help, but it definitely cant hurt. Gets pretty hot back there, a few layers of foil gotta at least keep a little heat out.

Im looking to place an order today! Still good to go with this Update? Is the CF version expecting a longer delay than the 4 weeks? PS I have been following this thread for months, your dedication to this project is unreal!! Thanks!! Also behind the kidney grills and in front of the radiator I have some horizontal fins... can i remove those without issue?

It is still covered under the hood, unless you're submerged under water you will be fine, just don't go out racing in the rain. It is very hard to Dyno an intake you would need giant Fans to create high speed winds in a closed chamber. Best way is to go to the track and compare your previous results. I am the still the only N63 to get in to 11 seconds and best of 11.8

I saw you put up on the website to get the xseries auto. When ahead and ordered already just to be on the safe side. Getting my car tuned here locally once it breaks in nicely. Or would it be better to install and then get it tuned and let them miss with the error codes?

What kind of tuning ? 2011 cars can only accept piggy backs. Break them in 1st then start with your tuning, your order will ship end of the next week.

Why is it that they only accept piggy backs, no one has cracked the ECU or doesn't want to waste their time? Also cant wait to get my intake in!

No one can crack that old piece of crap ECU, it has 2 mobos on top of each other so you cannot even drill in, to tap in to it.

You ever think about going with Dinan Intercoolers? Would there be clearance around the intake with a little larger intercoolers? You know of any other companies making intercoolers for n63?
