Things about my F10 this week. Number 5 will shock you.

1. Pinging alert and a screen full of messages regarding headlamp, DRL, indicator and fog lamp failure on drivers side.

2. DRL, indicator and fog lamp all non-functional. It's wrong about the headlamps, though.

3. Car is out of warranty by 2 weeks but under Mondial warranty with 250 excess so I figure bill will be about 240.

4. BMW franchised dealer do diagnostic, check power connections and trace fault to a poorly seated fuse. They fix fault, wash and vacuum car.

5. They don't charge me anything.

I had to have a stiff drink when I got home.
