Hi All,
not exactly a "New member", more a stalker, as since deciding to change cars to a F10 I have been reading the forum for sometime as advice here seems really good. However, I am receiving the new car tomorrow and I am like an old "Big Kid" at Christmas. It is a 535d M sport, Space Grey, with a few optional extras. In fact it is just way too easy to keep on ticking the boxes while thinking up reasons/lies why that optional extra was essential to Her In Doors. One thread that reoccurs on the forums is the black art of coding. If there is an opportunity to join a coding master class, if there is room, then I can travel anywhere round south side of M25 to join in. Regards, John |

Congrats on the new ride. Got this last November, same color SG. Factory equipped 535i but doing some mods. Before and after on the rims and rubber.

Hi,
I went for some packages as these seem the best value for money. Active Security M Sport Plus Media professional Then some optional items, best of which, are Adaptive LED headlights Comfort seats (for the wife as I have had sports seats before) Sunroof Head-up display Variable Damper control As yet not really been on a long drive but usually twice a year I drive to Zurich (as I worked there for 10+ years). I drive through the night when the motorways and road works are empty and it normally takes 12 hours from Dunkirk with stops. Then you really find out if the car is comfortable and your driving position is good for you. Regards John |
