Hi All,

Just picked up a set of used Alpina turbos for my 550.

Anyone here running them? I've been doing some research and only have found one other post of someone selling them, and none really of anyone running them.

Just wondering what to expect and seeing if anyone has a dyno with definitive gains.

Flyboy747 had them installed on his 550i.. get feedback from him. I believe he had a thread open here somewhere

Just got them in the mail

Don't plan on letting them sit around for long. Will post an update with results and hopefully get some dyno time in soon.

Only special order i don't do sales on website of the intake.

I paid $500 shipped, both came out of a running car with about the same mileage as my F10. One turbo has minor axial shaft play, so it might need a rebuild. Haven't gotten around to measuring it yet so if it is in spec I'm extremely happy with the deal.

Even if not, I got quoted at $800 for both being rebuilt. Still far less than buying them new.

Well, finally got my hands on a dial indicator, and it looks like they are off to rebuild.

Oh well! At least hopefully they should get done right when my n63intake intake comes in!

Mine is pretty much a fluke. I found them listed on an e30 parts for sale forum and couldn't believe what I saw. I jumped on within 2 hours of the post.

Never would have thought I would be buying Alpina B7 turbos from an E30 forum haha.
