Im soon to pick up my 2011 535xi Sport package,I will be getting it by next week,The dealer called me for insurance options,and would like a couple of opinions on these options if there worth getting.

Wheel and tire package ,covers damaged tires and bent rims,This is a must for me because my wife will be mostly using the car,I know the goodyear rfts are a pain but If she gets a blowout she can get home, $1395.00 for the 3 year lease

These are the other options im not sure about.

Interior coating -suppose to protect the interior for stains,if there is a stain and it wont come out its covered
Exterior wax- Supposed to protect the car for 3 years (no waxing) yeah right!
Scratched rims-If any kind of scratch on the rim its covered,even curb rash!
Paintless dent removal-covers any kind of small dent,door dings etc.
That package is $895 for the three years

The last option was to get the Scratched rim protection by itself,and the price was $250 for three years

Was wondering if anyone has these packages and can give me a little feedback are they good or are they BS! Thanks in advance

The wheel and tire price seems high for 3 years. I paid $1140 for five years of BMW branded tire and wheel insurance for the same car and three years was available, but I don't know the price. Your dealer is charging you too much or selling you a third party insurance.

Can't comment much on the interior insurance and wax, but you can buy new carpeted floor mats and a few interior/exterior detail jobs for a lot less than $895.

Get the W&T but as was said, negotiate the price.

The rest- it's a lease, don't give it a second thought. Snake oil / pure profit.

Most insurance is BS, as they always try to weasel out on the payout, unless its something they can't like replacing a windscreen. They could repair your paint and rims, but what kind of job will they do? Replacing a tire, you can't really weasel out of that one.

Ok guys thanks alot for the feedback ,I will negotiate the price for the w/t package or see if they will throw in the scratched rim repair for the same price,but it ends there, it's amazing they try so hard to squeeze every penny out of us
