You can buy with confidence from gtmassive75. Straight up guy, no B.S. Good deal for someone looking for a great exhaust setup. The M5performance exhaust doesn't have the baffles in the mufflers, so it is even more aggressive sounding than the standard M5 setup.

Do you know how this bolts to a 550 as I believe the pipe is 3" and on the 550 it is smaller? Also is there any known gain of hp with this? I would think so as it is a full catback instead of just an axel back but not sure.

The stock 550 pipes are 2.75" diameter while the M5 one is a full 3" system so there should be some gains there.

Any exhaust shop would fabricate a adaptor going from 2.75-3" easily during the install.

Somebody needs to grab this. Swung by gtmassive75's house last week and saw the exhaust. It is in pristine condition and a rare find since it is off of a Competition Package M5.

Gtmassive75 - you might consider the need to cut it up for easier shipping. That's what I ended up having to do. That's how the M5 M Performance Exhaust comes from Akra/BMW. Any good shop can re-weld it... Or you could use the $100 clamps that BMW uses on the M Perf Exhaust!! I'm having it re-welded and re-installed by FabSpeed to ensure a perfect fit and finish.

Seriously...most M5 guys wants this much for just the mufflers and this is for a full exhaust!

If i didn't already get my RPI exhaust i would be all over this for my 550.

Any recommendations on quality shops near you. I would have to come up to get it done, shipping it would cost too much. Anyone have an idea of how much it would cost to fab the adapter and install this?
