I've got a 2011 BMW 550i manufactured in Sept 2010. According to everything I've read this makes it one with a Combox and capable of being upgraded to support streaming audio.

I've spent an entire afternoon trying to download the software via USB stick and the system still tells me that there are no active downloads when I try and set it up.

Is anyone familiar with this or did my early Sept BMW get a non-Combox leftoever.....something?

I realize you guys are so far beyond something as trivial as this at this point but I would greatly appreciate any help, insight, or advice anyone would be willing to offer on this issue.

It would depend on your vehicle options as to whether Combox is included.

Personally, I never say the appeal of BT streaming because quality is so poor.
