low fuel warning coding options
By default the low fuel warning seems to not take full advantage of the HUD. Is there a coding option to make the low fuel warning be persistent in the HUD? Or, blink on more frequently, especially when I'm running on fumes?
if not, how about an audible chime? Seems once you drop below the 30 miles remaining threshold, BMW feels the passive message in the lower left corner of instrument panel is sufficient. I typically hold steering wheel in a way where my arm blocks this message and I've come close to running out of fuel. Something I've never done in my 30+ years of driving.

That's weird because in my car I get a chime and a Low Fuel Warning on my HUD. I would recommend going into your settings on HUD. Maybe there is an option for it.

once below 30 miles if I restart car I get a low fuel reminder in HUD, one time. No settings I can see in iDrive to change this. I even asked dealer about it and they upgraded my iStep level to latest as of Dec 2016. No change in low fuel warning, however the software upgrade did fix my power trunk opener stopping part way. A partial win.
