Right Cornering Lamp Malfunction

I received a “Right Cornering Lamp Malfunction” message this past weekend and I see the right corning lamp does not light when I turn my steering wheel to the right. Is this simply a matter of a bulb being out? If so, does the factory warranty cover same? Note this is not a problem with the adaptive headlamps, as my lamps still swivel.

It could be a failed bulb or a poor connection. My 2014 has an intermittent "reversing bulb malfunction" which points to a connection problem that closing the trunk seems to trigger or fix. Either way its covered under the new car warranty.

Thanks, Sonic.

So a poor connection would be covered under warranty?

Yes. It could be a loose connector or wire, or a faulty bulb socket(less likely) but that would all be covered under warranty.
Let us know how it goes.

Unless i decide to diagnose it myself, I'm going to wait for my 10k service to get mine fixed.

As a follow-up, my reversing lamp malfunction error was caused by a bad bulb. The Dealer replaced it at no charge during my 10k maintenance visit.
