Greater Toroto Area F10 Owners

Week 2 of driving my 535d xDrive. I LOVE IT SO FAR. Remember, I am coming from a Nissan Altima - so this jump is huge LOL.

Dumb question but for those in the Greater Toronto Area, where do you wash your car? And if you wash it at home, which I will do more often than not - where do you wash it?

I do mine mostly once a week, as I work from home so I don't drive a lot. Usually when the rims get dirty though is the "i need to wash the beast" alarm. I also Use "wheel wax" on the wheels to minimize the dirt on the wheels. No more wheel cleaners!
Auto or drive thru car wash soaps are very harsh on the paint, especially after waxing.
I clay bar, wax, wash, and detail myself. I actually enjoy it as its relaxing and I love my car.
If you are out East (Pickering) check out Shammy's detailing . They do a nice job for a reasonable price.

I live in North Toronto and work downtown. I wash my car myself during the summer months and in the winter I alternate between @ Your Car's Service at First Canadian Place and the Shell touchless and Yonge and York Mills.

I also have my car coated in cQuartz by Kevin Hamill at GTA in Detail...expensive but worth it.

My car has never been in a car wash of any kind(including dealer). In the summer, I wash it by hand when it starts to look dirty. Space Grey stretches out the time period. When I do wash, its in my driveway in midtown.
In the winter, I do a very quick pressure wash (lightly) to rinse off the heavy salt, otherwise, it goes all winter dirty.

+1, my car has never seen a car wash. Hand wash only

I had Opticoat Pro applied on my car. Since then, Optimum no-rinse wash in the underground garage. I get weird stares.
