2011 BMW 535i or 2012 550i m-sport

I currently own a 2011 BMW 535i with 80K miles. The car has been in an accident involving the car getting hit from the back right. The only air bag that was deployed were the headrests. I want to start a project and wanted to know that is it worth it to invest more money into the 535i or should I just get a 550i. The 535i cost me about $11,000 after everything including buying the car. The 550i is $24,000 and has 60K miles.

I would not buy that 535 back from the insurance co. Set it free, you'll only lose money on it at this point. I also think that $11K is a very conservative estimate to repair it to as-new condition. Total loss IMO, take the insurance check and go buy something else.

Second that. Get yourself the 550i. These kind of cars aren't really "project cars".

If your into performance mods try for a 14 or newer 550 he n63tu is much more reliable than regular n63 in addition to power bump from factor of 45hp n 80 trq my 535 was involved in accident from a family member although its driving great electrical small issues have definitely been a pain as well as other components failing as result of it i could only imagine nothing major major but defitnitely a couple grand in work

That isn't a minor accident! The frame is tweaked for one thing. Like john said; that car will NEVER be right!!

Not bad. Good color too, most people won't know it's salvaged. Does it drive alright so far?
