There's a different watch for every person. Leave the Rolex lovers alone

I don't have one, I never plan to have one, they aren't to my taste, but I will respect others decision to choose one and not judge them for it.... Most of the time, unless they are a Jerk.

Its not about judging, its about ugly. The only rollie I like is the new sky dweller. But for that money, I'd buy the Pan 1950 8 day ceramic.

Rolexes are nice timepieces but, too cliche. It's like buying a Mercedes once you've "made it". Lol

Hop on to WatchUSeek and you'll get the exact opposite consensus. And PAMs get a lot of hate too, which I understand having owned a replica to try on the size. Both of those you mentioned have quite nice movements, though. So, I guess, horologically, I can't blame you

Which is exactly why I like them! And it proves the point mentioned earlier that its all personal preference. Thank goodness theres all the different brands so we can all have a great collection!

Especially ironic coming from an BMW owner and an M3 at that.

That's the first time I've heard anything about an M3 being anything remotely cliche'. You mad? I bet you think a Rolly, a Polo blazer and a Ping cap is original, too.

So, you've never heard the cliche yuppy, porcupine and boy racer BMW remarks, jokes about BMW's and their owners but have about MB? You obviously dont get around much or have your head in the sand. There are many immature lads who group specific cars and try to stereotype them to groups of individuals.

For the record, I own a Rolex and BMW(and Corvette) but no polo or ping stuff. And I dont group people based on what they wear or drive. You on the other demonstrate you're shallow enough to do so.

PS-driving a BMW doesnt make you 'original'. Thinking it does, makes you even shallower than first imagined.

No. I have never heard anyone saying an M3 specifically is cliche'. You just made a judgement about BMW owners twice in the above, so how do you not stereotype? It's funny you've mentioned a Corvette, because that's another cliche' about Rolly owners. Lol. How about some pleated Dockers too boot?

Btw, The argument was never about originality but, rather how a watch like a Rolly is more cliche' than others. Go research the brand that is the number one graduation gift and then get back to me. Rolexes are ubiquitous.

Normally wearing my IWC Inge 3233 as a daily, I can't help myself wearing the Polaris or ROO RC too as daily 'beaters'.... Atm the ROO, but tbh the Polaris is more special and an eycatcher as well.

Crappy pic:

A better pic of the Polaris I wore yesterday. Such a cutie:

Cheers

The standard Capeland, like the one I posted, lists for $4350 (the flyback is like $5500 and up). A guy at Jared quoted me $3600 without even asking for a discount, but I paid much (much ((much)) less.
