BMW F10 520D (N47T) sudden shake when stopping on a red light
I have an 520D (180.000 km's) with the N47T engine 120KW, automatic.
What happens is, when the engine is fairly cold (not at fully operating temperature yet), I go out of my garage and very often when I come to a stop at the red light this happens: 1) I stop at the red light, the car stays still 2) after about 2 seconds while standing still the RPMs go up for about 200-300 rpm's (just once and quickly) and you can feel the car shaking because of that rpm jump. 3) the rpms go back to normal and stay normal for the entire time that I'm standing still at the red light. This does not happen every time that I come to a stop, but it happens fairly often (1 in about 5 times, when the engine is not fully hot). I changed my oil and all the filters 2 days ago, and today this happened again. Does anybody know the reason for that?
