FS: 535i/550i Brake upgrade calipers and pads
In europe they sell the 550i with a "high speed braking" option. This is basically the same larger brakes as the US 760Li or Alpina B7. It uses the same caliper as the US 550i with a taller caliper carrier for the larger pads and to fit over the larger 374x36mm rotors. (stock US rotors are 348x36mm). I have a pair of new BMW OEM pads, and used calipers from a 760Li that I cleaned up the caliper carriers as I was going to use them with my calipers and new rotors for my upgrade. ( I am no longer going this route as I got a Stoptech BBK for $1850.) This is what I am selling: Used Caliper L:Part No. 34 11 6 786 827 R:Part No. 34 11 6 786 828 Used Caliper carrier (two of them) Part No. 34 11 6 786 829 New OEM Brake pads. Part No. 34 11 6 794 464 I am selling the calipers, caliper carriers and new pads for $375 shipped to CONUS (this is about a 50lb box so not cheap to ship). You will also need a pair of the (left and right) rotors to complete the upgrade. The calipers need to be cleaned up and I would suggest painting them and replacing the seals on the piston. You will also need the 760li 374x36mm rotors. FCPEuro has the two piece ATE brand available for $177.29 ea (left rotor) /173.19 each (right rotor). https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw...er-34116789543 https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw...er-34116789544 There is info in this thread about the upgrade.
