So took J pipe off removed the resonator with magnaflow X pipe.

Map 7 with 46% e85 car is strong. Terry check logs he said looks strong. I'm cruelly trying map 6 now with higher boost now no issue can hit 18-19 psi no issue no codes

I know everyone is gonna hate on this, but I'm getting the sprint booster to resolve lag. I'll let you guys know how that goes. I had GSR reprogram my throttle several times and the problem persisted. I'm hoping by sending more voltage input to the TB, the DME will respond faster and open that butterfly with no latency. We'll see...

I get it this Friday.

One thing I noticed today in sport plus the lag goes away pretty much it's just in comfort there is a lot of lag so sprint booster may actually work.

Hoping, because I don't have sport mode. I can switch from normal to DTC off, to completely off. Found a screen shot of analyzer btw

Ok, a lag fix for me was definitely the sprint booster. I don't care what the naysayers think. I now own one and can confirm this is the "lag" fix. Still feeling out this upgrade, but yeah absolutely changes the car for the better and enhances the tune.

In green mode it's great for overall pep and huge reduction in "lag". Red no "lag" and I'm purging boost in every shift, very aggressive. I know now it's not turbo lag, but that its throttle position lag aka drive by wire delay as I originally suspected. I know you don't get more power with SB, it just allows your car to access the power faster, thus eliminating the "lag".

Really enjoying it on day 2 now it seems to be even better. Like I said before, I had GSR attempt to reprogram throttle position and no noticeable affects. If jb4 has similar adjustability as SB, then no need to buy one. If not, this is an excellent addition to any tune. Shit SB should pay me to promote them like this.

All I can say is that in sport mode on e90 I didn't need a sprint booster with my jb4. That said, it was a much lighter car with twin turbos for the low and high rpm ranges.

Obviously my big daddy ride I went with a flash tune with no adjustable settings and I don't have sport mode. Straight up manual with a single twin scroll. If the jb4 has an option to adjust the throttle position then you don't need a SB. As far as I remember on my 335 with a jb4, I don't recall a menu option to heighten the throttle response.

People who say "just step on the gas pedal harder" is absolutely false. There is still an inherent delay. Plus people hear you revving harder. The sprint booster is sending a high voltage signal thus less throttle press and lower revving. So you can be a little more stealthy off the line without sounding like a douche.

I agree with everything what BMW Doubles has said. The car just came alive after booster install and all lag is gone. I was running custom map 6 on jb4 and will have to change it to map5 or 7 due to traction loss at map 6. I just don't have any words to describe the throttle response. Don't even think twice just do it. I will
Post logs tomorrow with stock vs green vs red to show the psi I was getting 1st 3 gears.

Adding the SB is like experiencing the jb4 all over again. New tune called JB4SB
