I'll make this short and to the point. Get Fast Bit DV+ is an excellent compliment to any tune. I understand it's not a power mod it just holds the power better. This is especially true since I own a 6MT and average times between shifts can be as long as a second when I'm not hustling the car around. I no longer have to rebuild boost anywhere what I did before. The oem DV was not leaking, but the spring was definitely not holding boost as strong as GFB does. Because I hold on to so much boost, when it does purge, it sounds like a more refined BOV. Not ricey at all. BTW, I've had my GSR tune for sometime now and have seen psi hit 20 so when it lets boost go it's a very audible swish sound, even on the freeway. Fun to pass cars with a swoosh as I shift gears
The pros: - faster off the line and 1-3 gears holds much stronger - whoosh sound got way cooler - near bullet proof plunger - GFB Spring and no errors or codes so far The cons: - installation cost - probably not going to remove it if I sell the car due to cost - doesn't hold boost as much I was hoping It changes where and how the power is delivered, but not in a bad way. Changes the characteristics of the vehicle, but you won't want to go back after you adjust. GFB warns of using their spring and that codes might be thrown. I thought don't make me use the ICarly bmw app every WOT. I've pushed my car pretty hard and so far no errors. If you can swing the cost and you've already tuned your car this is a great addition. If you own a tuned n55 6 MT it's a must. Big ups to GFB, great product!

Labor time was 5 hours. I have a good bmw mechanic so can't really and openly disclose the price, but you do the math.

I had to get under there for other reasons I won't disclose, so my 5 hours was merged into another purpose. So yeah, if you wanted to install the DV+ plan on draining the radiator fluid and removing the power steering assembly. Ok ok ok sound clip incoming
