Induction kit or aftermarket filters for f10 520d?

Hi

I was wondering whether I can get an induction kit or high flow air filter for my 520d. I've looked and i can't find anything k&n don't make them or ram air. I've had the filter off and it's massive and looks pretty restrictive.

I'm just looking to cover up the diesel clatter with induction roar or at least try to.

anybody got any ideas?

Try BMC. Don't go K&N induction or anything of the sort. Just upgrade the stock filter.

Is the clatter pretty loud? I know when I had a 3 series loaner I couldn't stand the clatter!

4 cylinders are, but 6 cylinders fine, you can hardly tell you are in a diesel.

My brother recently bought a 320d Convertible M Sport and it does make a racket in comparison to my car that's for sure.

Under acceleration it just sounds like it's running on gravel. Occasionally at speed acceleration can sound really nice though which is weird. The stock filter is pictured below but I just am struggling to find a replacement performance one!!

excuse the dirty engine bay I've cleaned it up nicely since then
