M5 Style Trunk Spoiler - JBSpeed or EBay?
I'd like to add an M5 Style Trunk Spoiler to my 2011 550i MSport. I love the style of the MSport package but think the spoiler should be included from the factory and completes the look. I just ordered a set of black grills from JBSpeed and intended to order the spoiler from them as well and then noticed it was 2x the price of those I'd seen offered on EBay.
For those that have bought or seen both is there a difference? I don't mind buying the JBSpeed but if I can get the same product for half the price, that seems like a no brainer. |

It's great for the money. The prep when they painted it wasn't there and on some angles you can see dimples on the spoiler where the mold was. 99% of the time you don't see them. If I spent $1,000 I would be pissed, but for the money, can't complain.

My ebay spoiler was pretty good. Just don't like the cutoff the sides. I think they should be shaved off more than what it is. But for the price I paid including paint, its well wprth it

I bought my carbon fiber spoiler from bmwchop on ebay, after about 9 months it faded along the edges. I tried negotiating a solution with the seller and in the end he told me to paint it myself and has stopped answering messages. The painted spoiler I got for my wifes car is fine. Something with the Carbon fiber treatment is weak and fades so avoid that.

Can somebody please share the link on ebay for any of the spoilers? There are many and I am not able to find de sellers you guys mention.
Also, i want to order mine black. My car is graphite metallic 550i. How do I know the type of black I need? I want a gloss black that matches the mirrors and window panels. Thx |

I got mine, painted Jet Black 668 off of eBay. the seller was wing2238. The color match and alignment were perfect. The price, less than $200, was also very good when you consider that it also included shipping and a "3D Design" like roof spoiler (also painted a jet black).
