Catless Downpipe Clarification

I am about to buy a Catless Downpipe from Power House Extreme for my
2014 BMW 535i xdrive PWG.

Here is what im looking at...
The ER Competition Catless Downpipe ...or the AR Design Catless Downpipe
But there are many other options.
This is where i need your help guys......

1.) It says "long" or "short" or "i dont know"....whats this mean???

2.) It says "catless" or "catless with resonator" whats this mean?
they put a resonator inside the downpipe? whats it do?

Can u guys help clarify these options.....thanks a bunch guys!!!!!!

On our website, we do have a third option under version which is I do not know.
This option is for customer that do not know whether they have the long or short version.
Please select this option and in the comment section enter your VIN, we will figure out the correct DP version if possible.

A resonator is used to give you all the pros from a catless downpipe without the raspiness

I bought the VSRF catless DP and i wanted to know if i install it on my 2013 535i will i get the check engine light?

Absolutely u will get a check engine light with catless downpipes. If u have a JB4 it will bypass the check engine light. An ecu flash will also do that. But catless definitely will give u check engine light and will not pass inspection
