Question Regarding AC

Hello everyone. I am back on the forum again as I have just bought a 2015 535i M Sport. Every time I start the car the AC is on for both sides of the car at one bar. No matter if I save my preferred settings as off or if I turn them off before I turn off the car from the previous ride. I have tried searching around the forum to no avail. I have only had the car for about a week or two and it is starting to drive me crazy. Is there something I am missing? My old 335i was a 2007 without IDrive so I know a lot has changed... Any help would be appreciated.

If it is used, previous owner may have coded to be on.

pretty sure stock is having both to turn on with the car.

I had to get my coded to keep them as "last setting".

I see. Thank you. I started looking into coding a few weeks ago and thought wow there's some neat stuff you can do. As in it's not necessary but it's cool to have... this issue may be pushing coding to the forefront of mods I want to do. Thanks for the insight.

I confirm - I have to code mine in order for it to stay off after a full sleep.
