There is a mod that Patryk can do, that will allow the use of the cable instead of the Cradle. But it disables the cradle. It is mentioned in a different thread here.

Oh sheesh, sorry about the phone. Its too bad the cable alone doesn't work, the media cradle sounds like a PITA.

I still don't get it, My F10 has 6NR+6NF, media cradle, and the video in motion is unlocked, but I can't make it happened. Which feature you choose on your iDrive?

One trick is to have one video downloaded off of iTunes. When you plug your iPhone in the cradle dont go the plugin option, choose the option that shows your iPhones name and go to video playlist and choose the song you downloaded. Once the video is playing you can go to YouTube, tv apps or your photos and play them which will interfere with the video playing and will play over it. You only have to do this once after that your car will do it automatically.

Netflix, Youtube, Vevo...all video apps work!

I've noticed it's not very consistent....sometimes I have to launch a video from the iTunes library again to get it going.

Very cool!

Now with DVDinMotion I can watch Netflix while I drive....wait a minute...that sounds terrible and dangerous!! My passengers can watch Netflix....I can listen to TV shows
