DIY - doors ambient lights
Hi, i want to install the ambient lights on my car, i got all the required parts as shown on realoem.com and now would like to know how to do it, by any chance anyone came across door ambient lights on the F10.

My 520 comes with these lights as standard item. I believe it is an optional item in some countries, and will be included if you order the lights package.

@messiry. Did you manage to install the ambient lights?
I am interested to do it as well, but there is no confirmation that the witing is present inside the door trim. Can you confirm this? Thanks |

Hi jordinho, sorry for my late reply. so i have bough the parts (will come back to you with part numbers) however i failed to connect a power source to light up these optical cables, it needs some retrofit and there is no direct connection for it, so i forgot about the idea, if you know anything about how to easily do the power source i would be very interested to know it.
