i know this isn't a new topic but i was playing around on itunes and downloaded the mini connected drive app and it has so much more features that i wish we had on our bmw ones.. i mean we are paying close to 3 times the price for a f10..

also, is anyone having problems with bmy my remote? it never lets me do what it's supposed to be able to do.. like locking and unlocking the car.. it's only worked once and it still took way too long to activate.. and i was pretty close to the car too..

and why don't we have the climate function anymore?

They should put the full feature set of BMW Online into BMW Apps.

I pay for BMW Online and would continue to pay for it, but the advantage of getting Yelp, Gas Prices, etc. through BMW Apps is 3G speed. BMW Online is too slow.

We should lobby BMW for this.

Agreed, we should lobby for this and an iDrive screen that doesn't SCRATCH SO EASILY !!

I just came back from Canada and the whole time I was there I was using BMW online. Yelp, gas prices, google business search and also was sending addresses to my car's inbox when my phone was on the hotel's wifi network. My point is the network is there I don't see why not. Call and find out.

Free, or maybe it's a part of some package I have that I don't know about (I didn't build/plan for my car). A friend of mine said he pays $200 a year don't know for what exactly.

leads me to believe that its part of the bmw assist package, we have it for $199 here a year and the first is free. kinda sucks that its not the complete package even when we get it a year free here.. i'll try to ask if there's a way to add it but i highly doubt we can here..
